Middlesbrough is a large post-industrial town located on the south bank of the River Tees, England. The local area is a part of a number of larger areas, in order of size from smallest to largest: mainly the borough of Middlesbrough, partly in the Redcar and Cleveland borough, Teesside, Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and North East England.
