Chesterfield is a large market town and unparished area in the Borough of Chesterfield in Derbyshire, England, 24 miles north of Derby and 11 miles south of Sheffield at the confluence of the River Rother and River Hipper. Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
