Faringdon is a historic market town in the Vale of White Horse, Oxfordshire, England, 18 miles south-west of Oxford, 10 miles north-west of Wantage and 12 miles east-north-east of Swindon. The lowest parts extend to the River Thames in the north; the highest ground is on the Ridgeway in the south. Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
