Sedbergh is a small town and civil parish in Cumbria, England. Historically in the West Riding of Yorkshire, it lies about 10 miles east of Kendal, 28 miles north of Lancaster and about 10 miles north of Kirkby Lonsdale, just within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It stands at the foot of the Howgill Fells on the north bank of the River Rawthey, which joins the River Lune about 2 miles below the town.
Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
