Rhyl is a seaside resort and community in the Welsh county of Denbighshire. It lies within the historic boundaries of Flintshire, on the north-east coast of Wales at the mouth of the River Clwyd. Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
Google and other search engines (Bing, Yandex…) have their own memory, so they don’t display an excerpt from the site that always 100% corresponds to reality.
