Selby is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England, 14 miles south of York on the River Ouse, with a population at the 2011 census of 14,731.The town was historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire until 1974.Selby once had a large shipbuilding industry, and was an important port on the Selby Canal which brought trade from Leeds.
Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
