Stafford is a market town and the county town of Staffordshire, in the West Midlands region of England. It lies about 15 miles north of Wolverhampton, 15 miles south of Stoke-on-Trent and 24 miles north-west of Birmingham. Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
