West Heslerton is a small village in North Yorkshire, England, 6 miles southeast of Pickering. The village lies within the historic county boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The village was named on early maps as Heslerton Magna. West Heslerton is part of the Rillington ward, an electoral area covered by Ryedale District Council which is currently represented by Cllr Nathan Garbutt Moore.
Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
