Gosforth is a suburb of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, North East England. It is situated to the north of Central Newcastle. Gosforth constituted a separate urban district from 1895 until 1974. In 2001, it had a population of 23,620.There are three electoral wards that bear the Gosforth name: Dene and South Gosforth, Fawdon and West Gosforth, and Gosforth. Google and other search engines (Bing, Yandex…) have their own memory, so they don’t display an excerpt from the site that always 100% corresponds to reality. It can take a while for the search engine to reindex the site content and display a relevant site excerpt. It generally takes weeks, occasionally it may take months.
