Sandy is a market town and civil parish in Central Bedfordshire, England. It lies 8 miles to the east of Bedford, 18 miles to the south west of Cambridge and 43 miles north of Central London. Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
